This Swedish Vodka is now the number one selling vodka in the world. Introduced in 1879 as an absolutely pure vodka which used a new distilling process called rectification. The clear bottle is styled after an old Swedish medicine bottle. Made from locally grown wheat and well-water from the town of Ahus in southern Sweden.

The ways to enjoy Absolut Vodka Original are almost as many as the number of times it is distilled - countless. Bring your friends or bring yourself. Mix with many or keep it neat. Add soda water, lime juice and a couple of lime slices to serve yourself the perfect Absolut Vodka Soda or pick any of the drinks below. This is One Superb Vodka.

Absolut Vodka launched in New York, 1979. Our transparent and label-less bottle, inspired by an 18th Century medicine bottle, stood out from its tall, flashy, competitors. This was 1970s New York, after all. You had to be different to get noticed.

At the Absolut Company, we’re all about inspiring each other - regardless if you’re inside or outside the company. Here, you’ll meet some of the staff, friends and new acquaintances that help energize, elevate and contribute to our success. Every day, all around the world.

Over the years, the Absolut bottle has become a true design icon. An icon that has been reborn over and over again through different collections and collaborations with artists, creatives and designers. In other words – a perfect item for picky collectors. Today, there are over 5000 Absolut Collectors in the world, all searching, collecting and trading bottles to obtain complete series or hunt down the most rare items out there.
